It's official! TWICE's Nayeon just announced that she will be making her much-awaited debut as a solo artist next month.

On May 19, she released the first photo teaser for her upcoming self-titled mini album, Im Nayeon, through TWICE's official Instagram account. 

The album is dropping on June 24, Friday at 1:00 a.m. KST. Pre-orders will start on May 24, Tuesday.

Nayeon is the *first* TWICE member to debut as a solo artist. The 26-year-old idol previously participated as a lyricist for a couple of TWICE's b-side tracks like "Rainbow", "Make Me Go", and "Baby Blue Love."

Ahead of her solo debut, Nayeon launched her personal Instagram account @nayeonyny. As of the time of writing, she already has 4.1 million Instagram followers. 

Nayeon is the lead vocalist of the popular nine-member K-pop girl group TWICE. The group debuted in 2015 with the album The Story Begins and the title track "Like Ooh Ahh." Some of their greatest hits include "Cheer Up", "TT", and "Likey", to name a few.
