This year has been...something (remember when an ostrich got loose in Quezon City?). This November, whether you like it or not, a certain viral commercial from RC Cola is here to stay. It's sooo crazy, you have to watch it to believe that it actually exists. On YouTube, the ad's title is "Nyahahakbkxjbcjhishdishlsab@!!!! Basta RC Cola!"
Here's the gist: A kid confronts his mom and asks if he's adopted, because he's always being teased at school *insert dramatic music*. His mom tells him not to listen to what other people say, but he demands an explanation, removes his clothes, and questions why the hell he has four bottles attached to his back. His mom bursts into tears and removes her head to reveal an RC Cola bottle.
Even the offish RC Cola Philippines Twitter account acknowledges that it JUST DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. Basta.
According to one Twitter user, the ad is completely "unique but extremely disturbing," while another wrote, "thank you for the nightmares." Others think it's "a masterpiece!" Here are more funny + witty reactions to the commercial:
Please don't check your mom's head.
2020 really is that year, no?
OMG, the "adopted" child has a ~doppelgänger~:
This group had a very intellectual discussion about the "RC cinematic universe:"
People are even making fan art now! These are amazing:
Now one question remains: Will this family's *heartwarming* story have a Part 2? Abangan!
