Upcoming ABS-CBN Movies: Four Sisters Before The Wedding, Fangirl

The pandemic has halted production for a lot of movies and TV shows, but it seems like things are looking up! In a recent interview, ABS-CBN Films Production Managing Director Olivia Lamasan shared some deets about what's in store for their 2020 to 2021 lineup. From a John Lloyd Cruz + Bea Alonzo reunion film to the Four Sisters And A Wedding prequel, here are all the exciting movies we're looking forward to:

1. After Forever

The film, which will be set in San Francisco, is about a Filipino couple that migrated to the US. Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla are currently starring in a digital movie series called The House Arrest Of Us.

2. A John Lloyd Cruz + Bea Alonzo reunion movie

The film was supposed to be directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina and shot in Florence, Italy. Because of the pandemic, the script is being revised and JLC and Bea have been invited "to collaborate on a new story."

3. Four Sisters Before The Wedding

The Four Sisters And A Wedding prequel is currently in production and will give us a glimpse of the Salazar sisters during their teen years! It stars young artists Belle Mariano, Charlie Dizon, Alexa Ilacad, and Gillian Vicencio.

4. A new Liza Soberano + Enrique Gil film

We don't know much about the untitled film yet, but it's happening! Their most recent project together is the teleserye Make It With You. If you're missing this pair, you can stream their 2019 film Alone/Together on Netflix starting November 5.

5. FanGirl

FanGirl, which stars Paulo Avelino and Charlie Dizon, tells the story of a devoted fan who follows her idol everywhere. However, she soon finds out that meeting your "heroes" is never really a good idea.

6. Keys To The Heart

It's a remake of the 2018 Korean movie about a boxer who reconnects with his younger brother"a gifted pianist with savant syndrome." Keys To The Heart will star Joshua Garcia and Charo Santos. Watch the OG movie's trailer below:

7. Hello Stranger

Previously a digital series, the Boys' Love show from Black Sheep will be a movie soon! "During lockdown, Mico (JC Alcantara) is forced to be partners with a star basketball player named Xavier (Tony Labrusca) for a school project. Over time, these two boys form an unlikely bond that goes beyond friendship."
