Vice Ganda took to Twitter yesterday, December 21, to react to the viral video of an off duty police officer shooting an elderly mother and her son in front of his daughter. He wrote: "Natulala ako matapos ko mapanuod yung video.
He added the hashtags #JusticeforSonyaGregorio, #JusticeforFrankGregorio, and #StopTheKillingsPH.
In 2016, Vice Ganda talked about the death of his father, sharing that his family was about to go to church when it happened. He added that he wanted to tell his father's killer that he had already forgiven him, and that he was urging his mother and sisters to forgive as well. In a 2019 episode of It's Showtime, Vice talked about the kindness of his father, who was a jeepney driver.
