Heads up, pageant fans!
The Miss Universe Philippines organization just announced the mechanics to help your *fave* delegate make it to the top 75.
The top 100 finalists will undergo a series of virtual challenges, starting with the headshot challenge. The number of candidates will be trimmed down to 75 based on online fan votes and judges' scores.
Pageant supporters can vote for one delegate a day through the Miss Universe Philippines app, which is downloadable for Android and iOS devices. The voting period for the headshot challenge will start on July 26 and end on August 1, 11:59 p.m.
"Candidates were required to submit portraits that highlight their natural beauty," Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo shared in an Instagram video posted July 26, Monday.
The top 30 delegates will compete for the crown during the coronation night happening on September 25. The winner will represent the country at the 70th Miss Universe pageant in December in Israel.
