It's easy to flip through winter wedding color schemes on Pinterest and plan your dream wedding regardless of whether you're even dating anyone (hi, it me), but tons of people actually pull the trigger and tie the knot in December. Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom were in that same boat and allegedly planned a whole ~winter wedding~ of their own, but new reports say they've chosen to postpone it.
Before you get ahead of yourself with speculating, though, it doesn't actually sound that dramatic.
"They changed the timing due to the location they want," said the source. "They're beyond in love."
Apparently, they're planning not one but two events, so a lot is going into it. "They're going to have one local wedding party and the other will be a destination wedding party," the source added.
Orlando proposed to Katy on Valentine's Day this year with a $5 million pink ring after they started dating in 2016, but they're in no rush down the aisle. Katy said part of the reason they’re fine with taking a more leisurely approach is because they've both been married before (Katy was married to Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012 and Orlando to Miranda Kerr from 2010 to 2013).
"I think we're doing really great, and we're really doing the hard work laying a beautiful foundation before we start to build a massive house," she said during an interview with the KIIS Kyle and Jackie O Show earlier this year.
"It's important for us to do the work before we go and take this really big next step. We were both married before and it's not the same in your 30s."
