The couple had a super intimate and romantic civil wedding with the closest of family and friends on a boat in New York.
TV and events host Tim Yap shared moments from the special day on IG. It looked like the timing was approaching sunset.
"Perfect day for a wedding," he captioned his second IG Story, which showed a view of a New York river.
Yam was in a simple white dress, wearing a straw hat. Her hair was down in waves and she wore a watch and a pendant necklace. As she made her bridal march, she cradled her dog Tiny in her arms!
Here's our look at the couple in their wedding attire. Yam's hat actually had a veil on the side.
Tim was also able to capture a snippet of Yam's wedding vow: "I will always believe that it wasn't only fate that brought us together. It was our constant effort of making time for each other, whether it be video calls, leaving voice messages, or extra long texts."
And they sealed the ceremony with a kiss!
ABS-CBN entertainment reporter MJ Felipe was also among the guests.
"The newlyweds, me, and Tim Yap," MJ joked in a tweet where he and Tim posed with the couple. "Congrats, Yam and Miguel."
Yam revealed that she kept the engagement a secret because she had so many projects lined up and because she was in "career mode." But now that she's wrapped up her work on soaps like Halik (2018), Love Thy Woman (2020), and Init Sa Magdamag (2021), she realized that it was time to focus on her relationship with Miguel.
In an interview with MJ, she shared that she was on top of all the preparations and that the wedding would be a low-key one in Manhattan at the end of July.
Congrats and best wishes, Miguel and Yam!
