After three months, YG Entertainment has released another brief reply to the dating rumors surrounding BLACKPINK's Jennie and BTS' V.
In May this year, an alleged photo of them became a hot topic on the internet. Netizens claimed that they spotted two individuals in a car on Jeju Island that look like Jennie and V. They also noted that the K-pop idols went on a trip to the said place after seeing their Instagram posts. Following this rumor, YG Entertainment relayed: "We have nothing to say [regarding this matter]. We will inform you if we have a different response to share."
On August 23, another dating rumor spread and it has something to do with a photo that reportedly resembles Jennie and V at a hair salon. Along with this, netizens talked about V's most recent departure to New York and BLACKPINK's schedule in the U.S.
YG Entertainment has issued a statement regarding this report and said: "BLACKPINK will depart the country on August 25, and they will be busy taking on a tight schedule in the United States including the MTV Video Music Awards performance as well as promotional activities for their second full-length album."
