It Looks Like Anavrin, The Store From 'You' Season 2, Is Totally Based On A Real Grocery Store

...and of course Kourtney Kardashian shops there IRL.

In case the hoards of influencers haven't made it painfully obvious already, You Season 2 takes place in Los Angeles instead of New York City. And while some L.A. natives are a little salty that the show is portraying their city as a matcha-obsessed, selfie-taking haven, there's one part of the show that is likely plucked directly from La-La Land itself: Anavrin.

On the show, Anavrin is the ridiculously bougie market owned by the Quinn family. It's kind of like an upscale boutique Whole Foods. I mean, it even has a carefully curated bookstore inside.

While there are probably plenty of markets vaguely similar to Anavrin all over the country (shout-out to the health marketplace in my hometown with an entire section dedicated to craft beer), You fans have noticed that it reminds them of a chain of stores in L.A. called Erewhon. Yup. That's actually the name. In case you missed it, that's "nowhere" spelled backward. Given the fact that Anavrin is "nirvana" in reverse, it seems like the creators of You were practically waiting for us to find this little Easter egg.

For those who have not yet had the pleasure of visiting an Erewhon, you should know that it's pretty much exactly like Anavrin. They sell everything you'd imagine you could find there: kombucha, sustainable beauty products, and bone broth. There's even a location in Calabasas that Kourtney Kardashian shops at. Because...of course there is.

Anyway, here's a peek inside Erewhon. I can practically see Joe creeping on Love through all that produce, can't you?

Let's just hope there's not a suspiciously hot serial killer on staff, an extremely compromised meat grinder, or anyone jerking it behind the boxes in the stock room in the real-life locations. LOL.
