How to Lose Fat Now

It's all about discipline and moderation. Follow this plan to get that body you've always wanted.

Let’s face it; there’s no magic solution. As much as we’d love to snap our fingers and wake up in the morning looking like Miranda Kerr, it’s just not going to happen. It’s time to take action and work for it. Follow this plan to lose those extra pounds:

1. Consult a nutritionist or create your own food plan specific to your body. All bodies are different, so don’t assume that just because a particular diet or routine worked for your best friend, it will work for you too.

2. Keep a food journal and log in your food intake. By seeing what you eat everyday, you’ll know what you need to eliminate and add to your diet. Notice how you’re eating more sweets than veggies? You might want to reconsider.

3. Jot down your daily activities. Did you spend the day lounging on the couch while enjoying a Suits marathon, or did you take a jog around your village? It may not seem like a big deal, but keeping track of your daily habits gives you an idea of how realistic your goals are. It also gives you the extra push you need to change your lifestyle.

4. Download phone apps. Not only are they very helpful, but most are free too! Our current obsession: My Fitness Pal and Nike Training App. Motivation is just a tap away!

5. EXERCISE. Yup, there’s no way you can avoid this one if you’re really serious about losing weight. Sure, juice cleanses and diets will help you shed a few pounds, but exercise is the key to maintaining it. Join a Plana Forma class, hit the gym, or do yoga in your house. P.S.
