Jennifer Aniston is almost 50, but she still looks as good as she did during the first season of FRIENDS. What's her secret?

Jen is known for having the discipline of an Olympian when it comes to her diet. She once told Elle what she regularly eats for breakfast, and I immediately put my bacon down: "[On a typical day,] I have warm lemon water and then I have a shake or avocado and eggs, which is one of my favorites. I sprinkle a little coconut oil on that. Sometimes, I'll have a puffed millet cereal with a banana or I'll do oatmeal with an egg white whipped in at the end."

What most people don't know, though, is that Jennifer also works out like an athlete. Apart from her daily yoga routine, she is a fan of using the elliptical machine. In an interview with Vogue, Jen revealed, "I do 45 minutes of intervals on my elliptical. I raise the incline, run for two minutes, walk for one, run for two...and I do it for 20 minutes straight until I'm just drenched.

And trainer Amelia DiDomenico fully supports this technique: "By alternating between hard work and recovery, you're pushing your metabolic limits, and this increases your body's calorie burn during the intervals as well as after...Interval training is a perfect way to challenge all of your systems for a short and controlled time."

To make sure you're maximizing your elliptical work out, "Your core should remain relatively still while your arms and legs move. Imagine there is a glass ceiling above your head—as soon as you do that you will feel your stomach, back, and glutes engage in a totally different way."
