Hallyu star Park Min Young was reportedly questioned in the investigation of her ex-boyfriend’s company, Bithumb, South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchange owned by 41-year-old businessman Kang Jong Hyun. Prosecutors allegedly found evidence of the businessman using the actress’ name in some of his financial transactions.

The businessman was arrested on February 2 over embezzlement and stock market manipulation allegations, just less than five months after Dispatch revealed that the Love In Contract actress was dating Kang Jong Hyun. Two days after the dating news, Min Young’s agency released a statement clarifying that the actress have broken up with the businessman, and that she didn’t receive any monetary benefits from their relationship.
According to a recent report by The Korea Herald, both Park Min Young and Kang Jong Hyun are banned from leaving South Korea. However, Min Young's agency released a statement on the issue, clarifying that she is not "prohibited" from leaving the country. "Hello. This is Hook Entertainment.
