Blackjacks, it's time for another 2NE1 tingi version!
Members Sandara Park and Minzy are coming to Manila as part of EPICON, the concert that will feature K-pop's evolution as it brings idols from different generations on one stage. Slated on April 1, 2023, the show will take place at the SM MOA Concert Grounds.
On March 13, promoter Neuwave Events announced Minzy as the first K-pop artist who's part of EPICON's lineup. The following day, they revealed that Dara will be hosting the show.
Both of the 2NE1 members shared the good news on their respective Instagram accounts and wrote, "Fans from the Philippines, Are you ready for this?" and "See you soon Manila~!!! MC Dara with performer Minzy???? Ready na ba kayo?!" We are suuuper ready, queens!
Blackjacks (2NE1's fandom) have *theories* about the iconic K-pop group's possible reunion at EPICON—just like what happened in 2022 when they set the stage on ~fire~ during their Coachella performance.
P.S: We talked to the girls' makeup artist for the said event and found out that he's been a big fan of 2NE1 since elementary!
Speaking of last year, the 2NE1 members came to Manila for different concerts: Dara attended K-pop Masterz, Bom graced POPSTIVAL, and CL was the headliner for Hallyuween.
