1. Using your phone while having an actual conversation with someone
Is the company of the person you’re physically with not enough? Unless it’s an emergency, texting other people while you’re talking to someone right in front of you is really rude. Give people the attention they deserve. The person/people on the other line can wait.
2. Breaking the law because "everyone is doing it anyway"
Rise above the norm. Doing something wrong just because everyone else is doing it doesn’t make it right.
3. Seen-zoning people
This is probably the most frustrating feature of smartphones and messaging apps. They are basically rubbing it in your face that the person you’re talking to is intentionally ignoring you. It’s impossible not to get paranoid. Ugh.
4. Following and using "Filipino time" as an excuse to be late
It’s not a legit excuse, FYI. Don't you think it's about time we do something about this mentality? Come on, let's make it a thing: "Punctuality is sexy."
There is no shame in admitting that we all enjoy hearing the latest chismis. But when gossiping turns into bashing and backstabbing, it becomes a problem. You never know, maybe people are saying bad things about you, too. Sucks, doesn’t it?
