ICYDK, Ashley Garcia is right in the middle of her condo makeover series, and she recently uploaded a video that shows how she organized her makeup collection. According to Ashley, since she lives in a small unit and she owns a lot of things, she needs to be smart about how she stores them.
Ahead, the best space-saving tips we learned from Ashley:
Create a multifunctional space.
First, her vanity table also serves as her study area since she's prioritizing her online classes right now. We love how clean and immaculate it looks with its all-white design!
Get small drawers with wheels!
For her makeup collection, since she's admittedly not much into cosmetics, she can store everything in two medium-sized cabinets. She purposely chose ones with wheels so that she can easily move them around if the need arises. We also like how they perfectly fit underneath her desk—bonus space-saving points!
Utilize plastic dividers and trays.
To maximize the space in the drawers of the cabinet, Ashley bought plastic dividers and acrylic organizers to sort her makeup.
In particular, we're eyeing her white plastic dividers because you can customize them depending on the size of the items you're storing. For example, since Ashley's makeup bases are bigger and bulkier, she removed some of the dividers and only used two.
For her lip products, however, she slotted all of the dividers together. She also left some space in the back for ~*growth*~.
