The uncertainties brought by the COVID-19 pandemic have changed many of our everyday routines. Along with this came valuable life lessons and realizations that altered many of our views, our lifestyles included. This is true for Kapamilya heartthrob Joshua Garcia.

In a recent chat with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) for PEP Live, Joshua revealed letting go of two of his fancy vehicles because “hindi para sa akin yung mga ganito.”

Joshua opened up after being shown an old photo of him posing with his Triumph Bonneville T150 motorcycle.

He continued, “Ngayon, nagbabalik-motorista na ulit ako.

Joshua is busy promoting the film Ang Mga Kaibigan ni Mama Susan streaming on May 18, 2023, on Amazon Prime Video.

He will also be seen in Unbreak My Heart, the series co-produced by ABS-CBN, GMA Network, and Viu Philippines.

Joshua co-stars with fellow Kapamilya Jodi Sta. Maria and Kapuso stars Richard Yap and Gabbi Garcia.

The series will debut on May 29 on multiple platforms, including TFC, Viu, GMA-7, GTV, and GMA Pinoy TV.

DOWNSIZING

While undoubtedly cool and a head-turner, going around on a fancy big motorcycle also has several drawbacks as Joshua learned the hard way.

He said, "Parang naha-hassle ako kasi bawal mo siya isingit-singit [sa daan].

But more than the inconveniences, it was the desire to simplify that prompted Joshua to reassess his views on material things.

Joshua ended up selling not just his Triumph Bonneville T150 motorcyle, but his Dodge Challenger car as well, lamenting, "ang bigat dalhin."

From Commonwealth [Quezon City] to Mandaluyong."
