Want to make more money? Of course you do. JSYK, it’s not advisable to ask for a raise more than once a year, so if you got a New Year’s salary bump (lucky), you might want to lean back and count your money for a bit. But if you didn’t, we’ve compiled a list of the best times to speak up and ask your boss for a pay increase (by zodiac sign, of course!).

Whether or not you receive extra moolah is based on your performance and your company’s budget, so we can’t make any promises about the contents of your paycheck. However, these are the optimal dates to get the ball rollin’.

ARIES

TAURUS

Whatever you do, do not ask your boss for a raise during Venus Retrograde (which occurs from May 13 to June 25). Financial promises may be faulty during those 41 days and 40 nights. Trust us, you’ll thank us later. But don’t stress: June 25 (after Venus Retrograde ends in the early morning), August 3, and December 15 are safe!
