We’d be fools to deny that Instagram and Pinterest have drastically changed how we consume and experience food. When it comes to food, more photographers—both beginners and experts—are exchanging the studio for a livelier, more natural setting.
What most of us don’t know is that food stylists play an important role in making a meal look magazine-worthy. They know how to use white space, play with texture, avoid cutlery and silverware that may be too distracting, allow food to spill naturally, and make the entire spread look effortless and chic.
