I know it's not yet Friday, but today is Cinco de Mayo, a day of partying. ICYDK, the Mexican holiday celebrates their victory over France in the 1862 Battle of Puebla. Obviously, drinking tequila is the quickest way we could take part in this tradition!
Tonight, May 5, 2022, Patrón Tequila will serve overflowing, refreshingly perfect, cocktails for free from 10 p.m. to 12 mn for the first 200 guests at Xylo at the Palace. You will enjoy beats by Knoxville, Martin Pulgar, and Marc Naval.
But if you're Team Bahay, you can celebrate by mixing your own tequila cocktails. Patrón Tequila generously shared a recipe, and it made me see tequila in a new light: It's not just for shots or margaritas! Here's a pretty pink drink you need to try TONIGHT!
Paloma
Ingredients:
- 50ml Patron Silver
- 60ml Pomelo juice
- Soda water to fill the glass
- 1 Dehydrated lime wedge for garnish
Instructions:
Mix all the ingredients in an ice-filled glass. Stir and add a lime wedge or slice as garnish.
Honest review: It's a refreshing drink but it certainly gives a kick!
