Because of COVID-19, several industries have had to make adjustments in their structure, manpower, and operations just so that they could keep on running. The tourism sector was greatly affected by the pandemic and hotels were not exempted from this. At a time where businesses seem to be struggling, having a creative idea might just be the key for a company to survive.
And that's exactly the direction Sheraton Hotel Manila was after when they introduced the Vubble—private bubble pods where guests can safely dine and relax. Take a look.
According to Sheraton Hotel Manila's general manager Anna Vergara, "As a team, we always want to innovate. We try to be flexible. We adjust based on the demands, and one of the demands that came up in all our dealings with our guests [was] to have an option for outdoor dining."
The Vubble is meant for those who would like to enjoy the comfort of a safe space with an upgraded dining experience. Once you're inside, you'll literally be in for a treat because it offers a six-course menu, a gorgeous 360-degree view of the hotel garden and pool, and a dedicated crew that'll be at your service. If you feel like you just need to unwind, you can also choose to avail of the bubble pod that offers massage services.
All Vubbles are well ventilated and as a safety protocol, guests undergo temperature checks prior. Crew members also sanitize each Vubble after every use.
Take note though, the hotel does not accept walk-ins. You have to make a reservation at least a day before you're preferred date. A Vubble can only accommodate two to four people max. Rates start at P5,000 per person, for a minimum of two and a maximum of four.
