As if you need any more convincing to order another tall cup of milk tea, we found a new milk tea shop that you can add to your list of favorites! So what exactly is peach gum? In a nutshell, it's sap harvested from a peach tree and is soaked in water. It's considered medicinal in China as it helps cure certain illnesses. Often incorporated in desserts, Tantea decided to also put the collagen-rich ingredient in their milk tea as sinkers. Now if you're wondering what it tastes like, it's actually flavorless; it usually adapts to the taste of the liquid it's mixed into.

Apart from its star ingredient, Tantea also offers healthier versions of the more tradional options. According to Vivan Uy, Tantea's general manager, they use traditionally brewed tea bases, real fruits in fruit teas instead of powders, and 50 percent lower sugar than regular milk tea.

The shop has over 68 different drinks so you're sure to find one that you'll like. But if you're planning to try their drinks for the first time, you may want to go for their bestsellers: Boba Pearl Milk Tea (P120), Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Tea Dirty Bottle (P150), Mango Peach Gum (P180), Watermelon Coconut (P140), and Strawberry Milk Dirty Bottle (P180).
