When you need food that's quick to prepare, food that is good on its own, but at the same time can easily be paired with rice or noodles, a pack of frozen dim sum is what you're looking for. You can steam this while you're cooking your rice, you can boil it while cooking your noodles, or you can just easily pan fry if you want that "fried" flavor.

When the pandemic and the quarantine happened, there were many Chinese restaurants that started offering frozen packs of dim sum. It's easy to prepare and you don't have to keep ordering whenever a dim sum craving hits. 

Not sure which food establishments offer packs of frozen dim sum? We made things a little easier for you by listing down these places and what dim sum they offer:

Eng Bee Tin

Eng Bee Tin doesn't just offer hopia and tikoy. They are also offering 29 different frozen dim sum, such as pork and shrimp siomai (P200/12 pieces), pork dumplings (P250/10 pieces), hakaw (P200/10 pieces), siopao asado (P300/6 pieces), and the Lava buchi (P250/20 pieces).

King Chef Dimsum Kitchen

King Chef is a restaurant known for its delicious Cantonese dishes. Their dim sum kitchen, of course, offers the classic dim sum, but they also have harder-to-find items like includes frozen packs of chicken feet (P340/20 pieces), Taosi spareribs (P650/10 orders), beancurd roll (P330/12 packs), and spring rolls (P310/12 pieces).

You can place your order via foodpanda, LalaFood, or Grabfood. You can also message King Chef on Facebook or text the King Chef Dimsum Kitchen closest to you.

Ersao Taiwanese Restaurant

Are you a fan of dumplings? Ersao Taiwanese Restaurant offers dumplings with different fillings. There's pork (P230/30 pieces), kuchay (P235/30 pieces), and seafood (P245/30 pieces), while the gyoza version that uses the same fillings include the pork (P185/12 pieces), kuchay (P195/12 pieces), and seafood (P210/12 pieces) versions.

You can place your order by messaging Ersao Taiwanese Restaurant via Viber (0917) 309-4577 and payments can be made through BDO online transfer. You can book the delivery of the items through Grab, Lalamove, or Angkas within Metro Manila only.

Kowloon House

For all your siomai needs, Kowloon House (the Kapitolyo branch) has seven different packs of frozen siomai. There's the pork siomai (P300/15 pieces), beef siomai (P300/15 pieces), sharks fin siomai (P300/15 pieces), chicken siomai (P300/15 pieces), mini pork siomai (P175/20 pieces), mini beef siomai (P175/20 pieces), and mini shark's fin siomai (P175/20 pieces).

You can place your order by messaging Kowloon House Kapitolyo on Facebook. If you're within the area, they can deliver it for an additional P40 with no minimum order required.

Wai Ying Dimsum 

Wai Yung Dimsum offers the classic types of dim sum, like the siomai (P500/20 pieces), hakaw (P400/12 pieces), wanton (P380/24 pieces), dumpling (P380/14 pieces), spareribs (P300/half kilogram), chicken feet (P300/hald kilogram), and asado siopao (P220/4 pieces). If you want to have variety in one order, go for the assorted dumpling (P420). Don't forget the chili sauce (P185) for your dip!

DECS

DECS, also considered a household name, is known for its dim sum, lumpia, and pies. A few of the unique dim sum you can find on their menu is the chicken mushroom siomai (P245/12 pieces), century egg siomai (P245/12 pieces), scallop shrimp siomai (P295/12 pieces). If you want a little bit of everything (and more), DECS also has a siomai sampler (P260/12 pieces) that includes the three pieces each of the aforementioned siomai and three pieces of the pork shrimp siomai.

DECS released scheduled order forms on their Facebook page. You can click on this order form if you want your frozen dim sum to be delivered on June 8 and this other order form for June 9 deliveries. The slots are easily filled up, so best to check on their Facebook page from time to time if order forms were closed.
