We can all agree that cakes have been a *big* hit during the pandemic. From Korean-inspired minimalist cakes to adorable little bento cakes, there's not a day that passes by that we don't see them on our social media feeds.
One cake trend that has been especially popular among Gen Z is vintage-inspired cakes that look like the ones we used to receive when we were younger, but with a more ~*modern*~ twist. Sweetness by Tess is one of the local Instagram bakery shops that offer this cake style.
Visit their Instagram feed and you'll see that they love pastel-hued cakes with huge peaks, cursive writing, and 3D character toppers in the shape of bears, frogs, bunnies, and other animals. If that sounds right up your alley, check out all the info you need to know before ordering from them:

The IG bakery offers a variety of cakes, but they're most known for their vintage-inspired cakes. While the majority of their orders are customized by their customers, they usually share the same aesthetic and look: Bouncy peaks, romantic trims, sprinkles, and minimalist dedications. 3D character toppers in the shape of animals also often make an appearance in their cakes.
Aside from the vintage ones, Sweetness by Tess also offers cakes with edible photos and bento cakes—perfect if you can't finish the full-sized version.
Sweetness by Tess cakes: Prices
The price of their cakes varies depending on the complexity of your design, but they have base prices for all their cake sizes. For their regular cakes, they offer 6", 7", and 8" cakes with chiffon (vanilla, mango, lemon, and ube), choco fudge/strawberry, and red velvet variants.
Their mini cakes, on the other hand, are 2.5" high and 4" wide. They offer both chiffon flavors and red velvet. The price is inclusive of select design elements, though line art drawings may come with an additional fee.
