Recently, tteokbokki was voted as the best comfort food amid the pandemic in South Korea. The popular Korean street food is made of log-shaped rice cakes (called tteok) drenched in a spicy sauce (made of gochujang or red chili paste). It’s often added with eomuk (fish cakes), and if you’re wondering what it tastes like, the rice cakes are chewy and bland, but with the sauce, it’s a tasty dish you that will surely love.
Excited to try this Korean snack? Here’s where you can order:
1. School Tteokbokki
If you’re not a fan of spicy food, you can opt for School Tteokbokki’s milder version of the Korean snack. For P150, you can get the basic tteokbokki, or if you’re feeling fancy, you can also order the jajang (black bean sauce) or carbonara version (our fave!).
