One of the things Alabang folks have been wondering for the longest time is why there's no Wildflour in their neighborhood full of rich Titas and Titos. In the second quarter of 2022, all the collective prayers and manifestations have been heard when a huge Wildflour boardup was seen in Westgate, Filinvest City. Fast forward to March 2023, the much-anticipated Wildflour Alabang is now open to the public—and it's a big one, literally!

Take a look at the newest and biggest branch of pastry shop and resto Wildflour in Alabang:

Wildflour Alabang has two stories and once you enter, you'll see the display of Wildflour's signatures. We're talking pastries that include their bestselling Bomboloni and Cremadettes; a merchandise shelf to your left that's stocked with Wildflour's bottled polvoron; tubs of Wildflour nibbles like kamote chips and granola; and more. Once you've decided on which pastries (and/or savory courses!) to go for, you can take in the interiors of the restaurant. You'll notice the high ceilings, the brick accent walls (which other Wildflour branches have too!), and the walls are mostly glass windows that bring in the natural lighting—crucial for your aesthetic food photos.

The dining area is separated from the pastry display and cashier. To your right, facing the cashier, there's a bar stocked with all sorts of liquor. You can try their mimosa, bellinis, and Aperol spritz cocktails for happy hour or a nightcap.

On the other side of the pastry display, passing through a short hallway, is an even bigger dining area. Here, the tables and seats are mostly placed right beside the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the busy Filinvest Avenue-Commerce Avenue intersection. There's also a more elevated dining area beside it.

The second story of Wildflour Alabang is currently closed off to the public. We got to talk to one of their servers and they said that the area is opening next week. The second floor has more tables and seats, an al fresco dining area, and another bar (yes, two bars in one restaurant!) where they can host their Retro Nights.

Wildflour Is Opening Its First Branch in the North

Wildflour Alabang is the biggest Wildflour branch as of writing—it's waaay bigger than the branches they have in Bonifacio Global City, Greenhills, Salcedo Village, Rada, Rockwell, Podium, Uptown, and Greenbelt. We don't know yet if the soon-to-open branch in Quezon City can top this in size, but who knows? What's important now is the Alabang crowd has a new restaurant for brunches, coffee runs, alcohol, and dancing the night away without going all the way to Makati or BGC.
