Did you know that we touch our phones almost 3,000 times in a day? That's how dependent we are on our gadgets. But sometimes, don't you want to just go off the grid for a little bit? If you want to pull a Kendall Jenner and take a break from social media and other technological distractions, turn off your lights and try one (or all) of these activities:
1. Sheet mask, anyone?
If you're as obsessed with Korean skincare as we are, then you understand why this tops our list. Refrigerate your fave sheet mask for 10 minutes and you're good to go.
2. Is it nap time yet?
Age is just a number, and there's no reason why you can't take a nap! We never listen, but sleep is essential to our health. While you're sleeping, all the cells in your body are being repaired.
3. Take a long, soothing bath.
Let's face it: With your packed schedule, you probably don't have time to really pamper your body during the week. Break out the bath salts and the bottle of wine you've been reserving, and treat yo' self.
4. Walk around naked.
Obviously, you could also do this with the lights on, but if you're not feeling too confident yet, walking around in the nude while it's completely dark might just help you get over your insecurities.
5. Attempt to learn yoga.
There's something oddly comforting about learning something new in the dark. You feel less exposed, less vulnerable to criticism, even from yourself.
Explore and get to know your body or reconnect with your battery-operated boyfriend (yes, we know, that's technically a "gadget").
7. Or, if you're not alone, get freaky between the sheets.
Work those moves on bae and attempt to set a new record. ;)
Try these out for an hour at 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. tonight! Not only will you be recharging your mind and body, but you'll also be bringing more awareness to global warming and climate change during #EarthHourPH2017.
