Now that Instagram has taken to shadily informing us when we've reached the end of new content (whatever, Insta, pshhh), it might be time to follow some fresh accounts. Preferably meme accounts because at least they give you an excuse to slide into someone's DMs in the name of shared LOLs, amirite? Here are some favorites to get you started:
The Vibe: Classical paintings paired with contemporary life struggles = the ultimate pairing. Even Mona Lisa ran out of dry shampoo from time to time, ya know?
The Vibe: Pictures of Queen Meryl photoshopped onto various random food items, obvs. Coy Meryl emerging from a cannoli? Need.
The Vibe: True to its name, these memes are extremely extra and emo. Your inner nihilist will be satisfied—or, you know, will experience whatever the nihilist equivalent of so-called "satisfaction" is.
The Vibe: Actor Timothée Chalamet photoshopped into famous art. It's extremely convincing and, dare I say, erotic? That's all. You're welcome.
The Vibe: First of all, you gotta request to follow this one—hence the screen grab. But once you do, you'll find the most relatable memes about dating and drinking and just plain ol' ~life~ the internet has to offer.
The Vibe: Okay, this is less of a meme account and more of an incredible art account that sometimes doubles as a meme account. Lots of funny Disney princess mashups and scary Trump concoctions. Either way, give it a follow.
The Vibe: If you've ever been hungover or tired or lazy or hungry or broke or anxious, you'll appreciate this account.
The Vibe: Mostly screengrabs of really good tweets, if I'm honest. (No shade though, cuz someone's gotta find 'em.)
The Vibe: Millennial catnip.
The Vibe: Similar in mood to @emotionalclub, only more nostalgic.
The Vibe: Adorable dogs being basic AF. What else?!
