ICYMI,  longterm couple Catriona Gray and Sam Milby announced their engagement mere days after Valentine's Day 2023. The two have kept things pretty low-key on social media ever since their relationship reveal, but Catriona recently took to Instagram to share snaps from their trip to Tokyo.

The couple's first set of photos took place at Tokyo Skytree, the world's tallest tower at 634 meters. Cat and Sam clearly enjoyed the panoramic views of the city! "Our first trip as an engaged couple exploring the city of Tokyo," she said.

Next on Cat's feed was a sampling of "Tokyo finds", including some beautiful Japanese wrapping paper, a selection of sushi and sashimi, walls of paint, and an adorable cat statue. "Am I weird for wanting to buy this beautiful paper just to make some paper art and frame it?" she asked. We don't think so!

Of course, no trip to Japan during March-April is complete without seeing the sakura blooms! On one of their so-called *garden walks*, Catriona had her first-ever glimpse of cherry blossoms "along with some of the prettiest flowers I've ever seen after walking by this inner city garden by chance." According to the Miss Universe 2018 titleholder, the best travel itineraries "are the ones that have just enough planning to see your bucket list, but enough free time for spontaneous moments and discoveries like these." Catriona also clocked in 20,725 steps that day—looks like a day well spent to us!

Catriona and Sam made sure to visit the Tsukiji Fish Market, but were too busy eating their way through the selections to take photos. Sharing the only pic she took (a delicious-looking strawberry swirl cone!), the host shared her food recos for interested travelers: "Our top 3 faves were the A5 Wagyu skewers (10/10), 3-type fresh Tuna bowl from the Donburi Ichiba stall, and this fruity sorbet from Straberry Mania. yum!"

It looks like the couple discovered more strawberry-flavored delicacies during their trip, and made time to visit a temple! "Eat, walk, sightsee, repeat."

Next on the list of Catriona's postcards from Japan was apparently a trip to the Shinjuku Goyen National Garden. "My [sakura] heart is soooo happy," she captioned her post.

Catriona's latest post from their Tokyo trip is a sweet couple selfie with Sam, calling him "My food / adventure buddy for a lifetime." Aww!
