As much as we'd hate to admit it, these places are the closest we'll ever be to actually being part of the wizarding world. It's true what they say, books can take you to new and exciting places—both figuratively and literally.
1. Glenfinnan Viaduct
You can take the Hogwarts Express (kinda) by booking a trip on the Jacobite. It passes through the Glenfinnan Viaduct, the bridge featured in the Harry Potter movies.
2. King's Cross Station
There, you'll find Platform 9 3/4 aka the most Instagrammable Harry Potter spot EVER!
3. Annual Quidditch World Cup
Yes, it's real. The last championship match was held in South Carolina.
4. Warner Bros. Leavesden Studio
The studio houses costumes, props, and sets (like parts of Diagon Alley).
5. Alnwick Castle
This is where Madam Hooch held her flying class! It's also where Ron and Harry crashed their flying car.
6. Oxford University
The Divinity School was Hogwarts' infirmary. This is also where Professor McGonagall taught Ron how to dance in Goblet of Fire.
The beautiful Hogwarts library aka Duke Humfrey's library! <3
Most of the Harry Potter movies also used several of Oxford's corridors and stairways.
7. Lacock Abbey
Lacock Abbey is where some classroom scenes were shot. This particular room was Professor Snape's.
8. College of Wizardry
Czocha castle is where the 4-day live action role play happens! The entire experience includes room and board, magic classes, and "mythical creatures."
9. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
