Plan A Barkada Overnight Bonding Session In Antipolo

With summer completely over, you would now really think twice before planning a beach trip with your college barkada or girlfriends. Not only will you risk being rained upon as you try to tan by the beach, the waves are not exactly at their friendliest in this weather. But what's a summer-loving Cosmo chick to do when she's craving a getaway with friends? Go to a nearby resort (yes, just a two-hour drive or less from the metro) with a nice pool and even nicer cabanas for hanging out in and drinking till you drop and just forget about stress for a weekend.

If you're wondering where else to go aside from Tagaytay, you may want to head in the other direction and go east to Antipolo City instead. Check out Casa Ibiza Resort and Events Place, a mere two-hour drive from Metro Manila, making it convenient and highly accessible for college and working Cosmo chicks in need of a break!

Globe Asiatique's Casa Ibiza prides itself in being an urban oasis in the midst of all the hustle and bustle going on in the city. They're fully-equipped to entertain all you kolehiyas out there looking for a quick escape from school. Swimming pools are available for use all day (and night), in case you feel like battling the persistent heat and humidity. Little huts called cabanas are built around the pool area where you and your friends can talk all night over cheap booze and good food!

Casa Ibiza has Mexican-inspired villas that are good enough to fit a big group at a reasonable cost. Pool in some cash and split the bill—some of Casa Ibiza's 3-bedroom villlas can ideally accommodate six people, but can supposedly be rented for 15-20 people. So pack your sleeping bags, girls—or not!—because when you've brought enough booze and junk food for a three-day weekend trip that's really just overnight, will you really spend time sleeping in? Complimentary breakfasts are included in the package.

Also, while cabanas can be rented for a whole night of drinking and bonding, every villa actually comes with its own private balcony and cozy living room. You can move your obligatory inuman sessions indoors instead of renting a cabana by the pool, and use the money to buy drinks and food!

Don't forget to pack toiletries with you! They might offer basic stuff such as toothbrushes, soap, and shampoo in the villas, but those might not be enough for the whole group. Toilet paper is not readily available and you would have to request from management, so save yourselves from the trouble and bring your own stash! Towels and blankets, on the other hand, are available free of charge.

Cabanas can be rented all night at a floor price of P1,200++ (ideally for six people), and an additional P150 for every person (15 people max). The Deluxe Villa is available for P3,000++ and it's good for at least four to six people. The Grand Villa can be rented at a floor price of P6,300++ (ideally for at least six people) and an additional P500 for every person (20 people max).
