Rei Germar has come a long way as a Pinay digital content creator. She joined YouTube five years ago, and since then, has attracted a huge following. Her first-ever video was actually a vlog of her Black Friday haul in 2016! A quick look at her channel and you'll notice that through the years, she has focused on connecting with her fans, aka her #famiREI, through makeup, skincare, travel, and lifestyle. In fact, her online fame all started with a Divisoria haul! As of writing, she has over 1.5 million subscribers on YouTube, 296,000 followers on Facebook, 1.2 million followers on Instagram, and over 830,000 followers on Twitter.
Who is Rei Germar?
Rei Germar is a 24-year-old Pinay content creator. She was born on September 11, 1996 and her zodiac sign is a Virgo! Rei has two brothers (Rocky and Ram) and a sister, Reiann. In May 2017, she graduated from Miriam College with a bachelor's degree in Communication Arts.
In a "Q&A (Know More About Me)" video posted in 2017, Rei mentioned that one of the most frequently asked questions she gets from her viewers is how to pronounce her last name. So in case you're also curious, "Germar" is pronounced with the H sound, as in "Her-mar."
Rei Germar's vlogs
Rei kicked off her YouTube channel during her fourth year of college at MC. She started by uploading makeup & skincare routines, clothing hauls, beauty reviews, and GRWM videos. One of her most popular vlogs is about affordable, walwal-proof makeup that'll last for 12 hours.
Aside from beauty content, she also eventually got into sharing travel vlogs. The Pinay vlogger has been to several countries including Dubai, Japan, France, Malaysia, and more. (Talk about a pretty stamped passport!) Her shopping vlogs from each trip are definitely something to look forward to.
But of course, Rei hasn't missed out on local destinations. She's had beach trips with her friends to Boracay, Siargao, and La Union, to name a few. Just recently, she was in Bohol with the Belo family!
When it comes to the holiday season, she starts every December with a Vlogmas episode. This is a series of videos that she uploads daily, leading to December 25 (Christmas day). For Vlogmas 2020, her first video was about a quick trip to Batangas with her friends. Their accomodation was at a private homestay called Batalang Bato Beach Villa, and it looked so chill! As part of her tradition, she ended Vlogmas by sharing all the gifts she got for Christmas.

Rei Germar's collabs
In March 2020, Rei launched a sunscreen line with fellow YouTuber Mae Layug. They colloborated with local beauty brand FRESH to create Sunglow, a tinted sunscreen that comes in three different shades: deep, fair, and medium.
ICYDK, Rei's super close friends are Hazel Quing, Ry Velasco, and Jammy Cruz. Just last month, their barkada launched The Lula Club. It's a community that "encourages memory keeping [and] advocates for storytelling which thrives on the idea of unexpected friendships." Currently, the brand sells disposable film cameras for P949 in three different designs: Wacky!, Say Cheese!, and One, Two, Beans!
Rei Germar's relationship with Migy Romulo
Fun fact: Rei actually met her boyfriend Miguel Romulo (or Migy) on Tinder! But before the two even got together, Migy had already followed Rei on Instagram after seeing a photo of her on his Explore page (Rei followed back, obvi). In a video posted on Migy's channel in February 2019, Rei recalled, "Nung time na nagfo-followan kami sa Instagram, pareho kaming sneakerhead. Nag-uusap kami about shoes." They *officially* saw each other for the first time at a music festival, which Rei described as "not your usual first meeting." They have been together for almost seven years now, and in December 2020, the couple pursued a business venture by launching By September, a locally handmade fine jewelry brand.
