Wish it didn’t take so long to commute to the north? Here’s something that might just make the commute less of a hassle.

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) announced yesterday that the MRT-7 is now 49.22 percent complete, according to GMA News Online. The railway line, which is scheduled to be completed in 2021, will have 14 stations connecting the MRT-3 North Avenue station in Quezon City to San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan. It will supposedly cut down travel time from two to three hours to only 35 minutes.

In a Facebook post, the DOTr said civil works of nine out of the 14 stations are ongoing and the 108 train cars are ready to be shipped.
