Pinay golfer Bianca Pagdanganan won the Philippines yet another gold medal in women’s individual play, beating Kan Bunnabodee of Thailand at the Luisita Golf and Country Club on December 6. Bianca's win makes it the 70th gold medal for the Philippines at this year's SEA Games.
According to a report from ABS-CBN News, Bianca led the first two rounds of the match with a one-stroke deficit with four holes remaining. The game closed with a par 71 and 209 for the title.
The news report also added that Bianca was three shots better than Kan, who had a difficult time with the last three holes. The latter ended up with a silver with a par 72 and 212 total while teammate Pimnipa Panthong snatched the bronze with 71-213.
