Not a lot of Filipinos are actually celebrating Valentine's day.

According to the results of the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey, which was conducted from November 21 to 25, 2020, only 39 percent or 2 out of five Pinoys will be recognizing the occasion. Only 20 percent shared they were "very likely" to celebrate it, 18 percent "somewhat likely" to celebrate it, and 31 percent weren't sure if they wanted to celebrate it.

27 percent plan on giving gifts to their significant other, while 25 percent would prepare food for them, and 11 percent would greet them online or via SMS.

50 percent of the respondents confirmed they were deeply satisfied with their love life. Married couples were reported to be much happier than single people and those cohabiting with their partners.

31 percent, on the other hand, wished their love life would improve. 18 percent said they did not have a love life.
