The Miss Universe Organization announced today, December 3, through their social media accounts that Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters and Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere are coming to the Philippines.
The organization’s Instagram account posted a photo from the Miss Universe 2017 pageant held last November 26 in Las Vegas, USA. In the photo, Demi-Leigh is wearing her crown and is surrounded by the other contestants.
The caption reads: “It’s happening...The reigning #MissUniverse Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters, #MissUniverse 2016 Iris Mittenaere, and some of this year’s contestants are heading to the Philippines!
“They’re looking forward to the incredible hospitality of the Philippines’ Department of Tourism, seeing some of the 7,107 islands, being a part of DOT’s Women Of Significance Gala Night, and the #MissUniverse Fashion Show. #ItsMoreFunInthePhilippines”
An hour later, another photo of Demi-Leigh was posted on the same account, with the caption “Get excited! The reigning #MissUniverse @DemiLeighNP, #MissUniverse 2016 Iris Mittenaere and some of this year’s contestants will be walking in a #MissUniverse Fashion Show sponsored by @FrontRowPHoff!
“This will be a night to remember thanks to #FrontRow #FrontRowUniverse.”
The organization has yet to announce the date of the said arrival.
