How do you know if the guy you're dating is worth all your time, effort, and affection? Here, signs that he's definitely not.
1. He's always busy–except when it's convenient for him.
Whenever you two go out on a date, it's always based only on his time and availability. He never tries to go the extra mile to meet you since he thinks it's a hassle, so you have to go the extra mile all the time. Bottomline is, you're not his priority. Remember: if there's a will, there's a way.
2. He forces you to do things.
If a guy doesn't respect your boundaries and decisions, then he's not worth it. Whether it's something as mundane as asking you to change your clothes because he doesn't like them to bigger issues like forcing you to have sex with him (which is basically rape), leave him.
3. You do all the work.
Once again, you're the only one putting in the effort to make things work. You always initiate the first move, send the first text message, or make the first call. If a guy is into you, he shouldn't have trouble starting the conversation! When he talks to you just because he wants something, it's better to walk away.
4. He lies.
Trust and honesty are important in a relationship. If you've caught your man lying once or twice, it'll be hard for you to trust him again. After all, if he can lie to you about anything, how sure are you that what he tells you regarding your relationship is all true?
5. He doesn't remember the little things about you.
It's either he's not listening or he doesn't care enough to remember. According to relationship coach Katherine Jane, paying attention to each other allows the relationship to grow, improves intimacy, and keeps the 'distance,' which often develops in long-term relationships, at bay.
6. He hits you.
This is one of the major deal breakers when it comes to relationships. Once a man abuses you, it's time to pack your bags and leave. No matter what the issue is, a guy should never ever hit a woman (or anyone) out of anger. If he did it once, he's probably going to do it again in the future.
7. He never acknowledges your relationship.
You two have been going steady for a while now but he has never really introduced you to his family nor his friends. When you ask him what you two really are, he doesn’t give you a concrete answer. Settle the issue with him first, and when he still can't define what you two are, then you're probably better off without him. Girl, you're just not a booty call. You deserve better.
