ICYMI (and you probably didn’t), Pia Wurtzbach is back in Manila for her grand homecoming. This is her first visit to the Philippines since winning the Miss Universe crown on December 20, 2015 in Las Vegas.
The beauty queen landed in Manila in the early hours of January 23, Saturday. Because she is Queen of the Universe and thus always looks ~flawless~, she deplaned not looking like she just spent hours flying halfway around the world in a tiny metal box.
That same day, she graced the Cream Silk Transformations event, which puts a spotlight on the Modern Filipina, in a purple bodycon dress that bared her shoulders. Shoulders are super in this summer, CGs!
On Sunday, Pia met with members of the media in a cerulean jumpsuit custom made by pageant coach-turned-fashion designer Mark Bessie Besana. Love the flowing wide-legged silhouette!
Various engagements mean numerous outfit changes! For Pia’s official press conference, she opted for something less conventional: a black sheath dress with sheer fishnet fabric layered over it. Interesting choice—we like it!
Ladies, this is how you perfect the sexy but demure look! Pia wore a white mesh panel mini dress to meet with friends, including Miss Globe 2015 Ann Colis. Cutouts can sometimes come off too daring, but the white color kept that from happening.
On Monday morning, she made a courtesy call to the Senate in a prim and proper floral watercolor print dress. Lakas maka Kate Middleton!
The highlight is, of course, the grand parade that will take Pia through Manila’s major roads and thoroughfares on Monday, January 25. Naturally, the one thing we wanted to see was what she would be wearing.
In the end, she donned a beautiful green terno by Filipino couturier Albert Andrada, which is a timeless choice for a timeless beauty. Slay, Pia, slay!
