Nadine Lustre never fails to impress us! At the premiere of This Time on Tuesday, May 3, Nadine walked the red carpet in a dreamy blush gown that was a departure from the actress’ favored dark pieces. Naturally, the first thing we wanted to know was who made this pretty ensemble.
CGs, our guessing days are over—Stylebible.ph has exclusively revealed that Nadz herself designed the frothy pink gown! According to Joanna Garcia, Nadine’s stylist, the dress was a collaboration between herself, Nadine, and makeup artist Jelly Eugenio. The actress wanted something Balmain-esque (think heavily beaded dresses paired with sexy gladiator heels), so she and Jelly came up with a sketch that catered to her preferences. The team then enlisted Mak Tumang to craft the dress, and the result is the low-neck, lace-back, side-slit gown you see below.
Designer Mix Supetran had the daunting task of meticulously beading the bodice of Nadine’s dress. Here’s a close-up of her handiwork:
Accessories-wise, Joanna shared that Nadine went for classic Dina Castro stud earrings (which—get this—retail for half a million pesos) and custom-made lace-up heels. “The sandals and the slit added spunk to her feminine outfit—stylish but with a bit of an edge, very Nadine,” Joanna revealed to Stylebible.ph. Nadz, you truly are one of our best dressed women!
