The Queen enjoys a wardrobe that we can only admire from a distance—the pearls, the hats, the colourful suits for every occasion; and now it has been revealed that the Queen's expensive sartorial taste also extends to her hosiery drawers.
Now, we haven't been looking through The Queen's sock drawer so we can't say for sure which exact pair of Corgi socks she prefers, but the cheapest the brand sells is still way higher than the three-pair packs we buy at the department store.
In fact, the most expensive pair of women's socks that they have—a hand-knitted pair titled Prince of Wales Cable Socks—are a mind-blowing £95 (P6,048!), which is more than we hope to ever spend on socks in our lifetime.
Considering the Queen employs someone specifically to break in new shoes, we're not surprised that she also splashes out on her socks. Besides, since she's snapped most of the time in flesh-colored tights, maybe she only has one or two of socks that she gets out for special lounging-around-the-palace occasions. Like Christmas.
