Are you seeing double? Or is this a case of déjà vu? Nope. It seems that Kate Middleton just took a page straight out of Princess Diana's style book.
On the second day of her Scandinavian royal tour, Kate Middleton wore a bright red houndstooth coat by Catherine Walker during a visit to the Matteusskolan School in Stockholm, Sweden. She paired it with a deep plum-colored Chanel bag, sheer tights, and burgundy pumps, but the look quickly drew comparisons to one Princess Diana wore almost 30 years ago.
In December 1990, Lady Di wore a nearly identical Moschino coat (although shorter and with navy-and-white scarf detailing) to a church service in Sandringham with a young Prince William in tow.
She paired hers with a black-and-white houndstooth pencil skirt, turtleneck top, color-block pumps, and felt hat with black veiling.
Indoors, the Duchess, who is pregnant with her third child, took off her long statement coat to reveal a white tweed dress.
Basically, the houndstooth #twinning moment is definitive proof of what we already knew: Princess Diana had the most impeccable style, and so does Kate.
