Birthday gifts can’t get any better than this! Liza Soberano just debuted a stunning Chanel Boy Bag—a present as she turns 19 on January 4. On Instagram, Liza shared a photo from a recent trip to Tokyo (bag on full display, of course) with the caption, "Posting this picture to thank a special someone. I literally cried when opening a huge package which was supposedly my 'birthday gift.' I've been wanting to buy this bag forever but it’s nearly impossible to find one with the specifications I wanted, but this man conquered the impossible and got it for me. Thank you for making me the happiest and thank you for making my dreams come true @enriquegil17."
OMG! Kilig or what?! Not only does Enrique Gil know what a girl wants—seriously, who can say no to a classic Chanel bag?—he also made sure to find the exact style Liza has been looking for. On closer inspection, it seems like Liza’s new purse is the Boy in medium black caviar. Chanel bags typically come in two kinds of leather, lambskin and caviar, and if you zoom in, Liza’s features the grainy texture characteristic of caviar leather, along with signature Chanel details like the interlocking CC logo closure and the metal chain strap.
We did a bit more snooping and learned that this particular style retails for $5,200 (P257,899). Pre-owned luxury store Portero also carries the actress’ exact bag—priced at a slightly less expensive $4,700 (P233,101). Enrique sure did well!
