When planning an itinerary for Seoul, South Korea, you can always expect favorites like Myeong-dong, Bukchon Hanok Village, N Seoul Tower, and a palace or two to pop up. But for a different experience that's bound to be just as memorable, may we suggest immersing yourself in a fashion exhibit?

This summer, one of our favorite cities in the world is playing host to amazing exhibitions centered around two of the most iconic French fashion houses ever. We're talking, of course, about Louis Vuitton and Chanel, aka designer labels no girl would have any problem recognizing.

What to expect: The Daelim Cultural Foundation regularly presents exhibits around photography, contemporary art, and design through its three spaces in Seoul. For a brief period this summer, D Museum captures the story of Chanel's evolution, from its beginnings with Gabrielle Chanel at the helm to Karl Lagerfeld's innovations throughout his career with the brand. Expect an exhibit seeped in history, iconic fashion, and that distinct brand of French sophistication—and enough tweed, quilted bags, and camellias, too, we're sure.
