We Love The Meaning Behind Catriona Gray's Philippine Flag-Inspired Hand Chain

Catriona Gray has passed on the Miss Universe crown to Zozibini Tunzi of South Africa. During her final walk onstage during the December 9 coronation night, Catriona wore a Philippine flag-inspired hand chain. The beauty queen is fond of nationalistic jewelry—she sported a Three Stars and Sun Ear Cuff when she won in 2018.

Catriona revealed the meaning behind her hand chain through her IG post: "My ode to my beloved Philippines. Throughout my journey, I've always wanted to carry a piece of my country. After designing my ear cuff, it came time for the final piece."

Her intricate hand chain bracelet featured the golden sun and the three stars. There were also gemstones to add a sparkling touch. She created this design with Manny Halasan.
