Yep, singer Rihanna is teaming up with sportswear brand Puma to create designs for an upcoming collection. "Signing Rihanna is a fantastic step for Puma,” says Bjørn Gulden, Puma’s chief executive officer, adding, “Her global profile, her charisma and individuality, her ambition—all these things make her a perfect ambassador for our brand."
Rihanna, clad in an all-white ensemble during the contract signing, updated her fans via Instagram, saying, "[This is] the face you make when you [become] the Creative Director of a sportswear company #PUMA."
We sense a lot of sexy sports bras and tiny running shorts—basically athletic pieces that don't really cover a lot of skin, because this is #Rihanna, and if it were up to her, we'd all exercise naked.
Rihanna isn't the first singer to collaborate with a fashion brand to make chic sportswear. This year, Topshop announced that Beyonce will be designing for the British clothing brand's fitness line.
