While the evolution of men's swimwear might not be quite as elaborate as women's, this video by Mode.com showing how the male bathing suit has transformed over the last century is mesmerizing in its own, abs-alicious way.
While ladies' swimsuits were designed to show off curves, men's swimsuits were supposed to make guys appear bulky, which meant that the very first swimsuits were made of knitted material that got super heavy when wet.
