Graphic tees are on the rise—have you seen our picks to shop now?—and there’s a particular one that has the fashion world buzzing. Nope, it’s not Gucci’s retro-style logo t-shirt. Instead, take a look at Dior’s contribution to the feminist movement: a plain white tee emblazoned with a very powerful statement.
"We Should All Be Feminists" is actually the title of a book by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. According to Vogue.com, the t-shirt debuted at Dior’s Spring 2017 runway show last September, under its first female creative director, Maria Grazia Chiuri.
Since then, some famous faces have proudly worn the tee, including Natalie Portman at the recent Women’s March in Los Angeles:
Rihanna after the Women’s March in New York City:
And Jennifer Lawrence on the February subscriber’s cover of Harper’s Bazaar Germany.
It’s safe to say this is one trend we can all get behind.
