You Can Go To Sleep Now! #TheDress Is Black And Blue

Those who said the dress was white and gold were lying. LYING!

Here's a really important story on how The Dress found its way to the Internet:

Cecilia Bleasdale—who hails from England—sent her daughter, Grace MacPhee, three dress photos for Grace's upcoming wedding. One of the frocks was #TheDress. The mother and daughter duo were arguing about the color of the dress, because Cecila thought it was black and blue, while Grace thought it was white and gold.

Grace showed the photo to her then fiance Keir Johnston, and he said it was black and blue.

Sooo, Caitlin McNeillwho was part of the wedding entouragedid what any normal, logical person would do: She uploaded the photo of the dress online, because "sometimes Tumblr's good for that kind of science-y stuff."

To get to the bottom of this, Ellen DeGeneres invited the whole family to her show, so they could finally give us all some peace!

P.S. It's black and blue, BTW. Cecilia actually wore it to the show.
