PBB's Sam Pinto In Classic Hollywood Glam

See behind-the-scenes photos of this Pinoy Big Brother stunner's fashion shoot with Cosmo for this month's issue. She talks fashion and beauty, too.

You’ve probably seen this bombshell beauty in various magazines and TV commercials (and even in your bathroom! Yes, her face was in every Sunsilk sachet years ago). Thanks to her tall frame, Sam Pinto started out as a print and TV commercial model at a tender age of 10. She has appeared in so many ads, and just recently, she was dubbed the “Fab Fashionista of Paranaque” when she joined Pinoy Big Brother: Double Up. From then on, she became a familiar name, too.

This 20-year old model/actress is a fashion lover. She took up Fashion Design in College of St. Benilde, but eventually had to put it on hold to pursue a career in showbiz. The fashionista tapped into her inner screen siren instead, as she starred in a number of shows, including Agimat Presents: Elias Paniki, with Jake Cuenca. She will also be in an upcoming movie with Vice Ganda, in the remake of the Pinoy film Petrang Kabayo.

Cosmo got to chat with Sam during her shoot for the fashion spread in this month's issue of Cosmopolitan Magazine. She arrived early in the studio, clad in a simple blue maxi dress and white cardigan. We later learned that, even if she loves fashion, she really prefers to wear outfits that are simple and laid-back.

Read on for our Style & Beauty Q&A with Sam to know more about her fashion and beauty favorites. Then launch our gallery to see how we turned this sweet-faced actress into a fabulous diva.

Describe your personal style.

Usually, on [ordinary] days, I just go with comfy clothes--as in shorts and top. During work, that’s when I dress up dress up. So, [on ordinary] days, usually casual lang. Very simple lang, very laid-back.

What are your fashion favorites?
Oh, I love gray pants and cardigans. Kasi you can just wear [a cardigan with] whatever you want--just put [it] on. It’s super fine na.

What do you love best about your body?
(Laughs) Can I say my tattoo? On my foot.

Do you have any beauty secrets?
Actually, I just learned it now: You should use toner every day. I’m acidic, so [using toner helps my] pH balance daw. So use toner every day.

What are your beauty must-haves?
The super basic: concealer, [since I have] super dark under-eye circles, and eyeliner. Actually, happy na 'ko sa dalawang 'yan. And powder!

What's your skin care regimen?
None. No, I just wash my face everyday, it’s really just that. And [use] sunblock.

What's your beauty pet peeve?
Oh, I hate it when 'yung conceler nila super super white. Parang OA na, ano ba. Para siyang may shapes na white.

How do you spend your day?
For work? It depends really. Shoots like this take more than eight hours. In taping, more than 24 hours. So usually if I’m not naka-salang, I rest, try to catch some sleep kasi nga 'pag tuloy-tuloy 'yung taping you don’t really get to sleep.

And what’s your relationship status?
Single. Uh, my boyfriend is my work (laughs).
