Several guests at the 2018 State of the Nation Address (SONA) chose to attend the event donned in white frocks. Here, a list of some of the best-dressed attendees in pristine white outfits:
As per usual, Heart Evangelista looked stunning this year. Her first outfit was a white Filipiniana gown designed by Mark Bumgarner. For the afternoon session, Heart slipped into a sleek all-white pantsuit also by the same designer. Our favorite detail though? The rainbow flag pin she wore the whole day to show her support for the SOGIE bill.
Tootsy's beautiful gown was designed by none other than Rajo Laurel. If you look closely, she's wearing the same equality pin Heart has on her gown to also show her support for the Anti-Discrimination bill.
Senator Risa's Filipiniana dress designed by Joel Acebuche has an interesting (and totally feminist) story behind it: "Proud of wearing this Piña Jusi dress paired with a bolero with butterfly sleeves to show support for the women of Lumban, Laguna, who made the fabric," she wrote.
And that's not all. In the afternoon session, she arrived with rainbow-colored sleeves on her dress. Yes for equality!
Kate Darrela wore an off-white Filipiniana and was accompanied by Presidential son Baste Duterte. Their outfits were designed by Cary Santiago.
Keeping it simple yet professional, here is a cute office pic of Senator Grace Poe in a white dress with minimalist beaded details, accompanied by her husband in a white barong.
For the morning session, Jinkee Pacquiao opted for a simple, but artfully cut Filipiniana this year, designed by Michael Leyva. Her husband, Senator Manny Pacquiao, wore a white barong designed by Francis Libiran.
Congressswoman Em Villar wore this beautful number by Veluz Bride.
