OMG, Alex Gonzaga And Mikee Morada Are Preparing To Welcome Their First Baby

This year is shaping up to be a breakthrough moment for actress Alex Gonzaga and her husband Mikee Morada as they prepare to welcome a new addition to their family: their first child.

Alex shared the news with a heartfelt Instagram Reel that documented their journey leading up to the pregnancy. She reflected on how this milestone came as an unexpected blessing, describing it as something they did not see coming but ultimately believed was made possible through their faith.

"After almost six years of marriage and three heartbreaking losses, we never lost faith and continued to surrender everything to the Lord," Alex opened. 

"While preparing for IVF, the Lord Jesus blessed us with a natural pregnancy," she added. 

ICYDK, Alex and Mikee have been trying to conceive for almost five years since their marriage in 2020. Their journey toward pregnancy and parenthood was not easy. Four years ago, the actress shared in a vlog that she experienced what was initially believed to be a pregnancy, which later turned out to be a blighted ovum, a condition where a fertilized egg implants in the uterus but does not develop into an embryo.

In the years that followed, the couple endured two more miscarriages and eventually turned to in vitro fertilization (IVF) in hopes of conceiving.

Despite the heartbreak, Alex expressed deep gratitude to her family and husband for standing by her throughout the process. She shared that she and her husband continued to hold on to their faith, believing that God would still bless them with the family they had long prayed for.

Now, it appears that their faith is finally coming to fruition. "By God's grace, our prayers have been answered, and we are finally going to be mommy and daddy," Alex shared.

"The Lord Jesus truly answers prayers. Please continue praying with us for a safe and healthy pregnancy until our baby arrives ❤️," she wrote. 

Toni Fowler, one of Alex's close friends, also shared her excitement for the couple's new chapter as they enter parenthood. She even revealed that she was among the first to know about the pregnancy, but chose to keep it confidential until the couple made their official announcement.

"Nung panahon na 'to dinalaw ko siya at maliit-liit pa yung tiyan niya 🥹❤️ Grabe iyak ko kasi nabigla talaga ako, akala mo akong yung ama 😅," Toni wrote. 

"AT MASASABI KONG WORTH IT YUNG PAGSISINUNGALING KO SA MARAMING TAO NA TANONG NG TANONG KUNG BUNTIS BA SIYA 😅," she added.
